Backsliding

Isaiah 59:1-2

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

2 Peter 1:9-10

But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

1 John 5:4-5

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

James 4:7-10
