"Covenant Country Christian Music Morning" with
PASTOR MICHAEL TETRICK
Sunday, August 12, 2007

Pastor Michael L. Tetrick, Jr. was the
guest of honor for a very special
morning of music and ministry from
the Word on Sunday, August 12,
2007.

Pastor Chad & Sarah Carter have
known Pastor Tetrick for a number of
years and have been blessed to work
with him in ministry through other
evangelistic endeavors.

However, this was the first time they were able to welcome Pastor Tetrick to minister from the pulpit of Family Harvest Church.  It was their honor to once again work with Pastor Tetrick to witness the change in lives that only Jesus can make.

Deacon Shane Hawkins opened the service with praise and worship.  Pastor Carter ministered receiving tithes and offerings and then introduced Pastor Tetrick
to the pulpit.

Pastor Tetrick opened by performing a few of
the songs from some of his albums, which he
terms, "Covenant Country" songs, and "Sin-
Kickin' Country."

He is a very talented and accomplished musician
and shared his brand of Christian music that
helps the listener to focus on Christ as the
center of their lives, as well as the important aspects of having marriage and family relationships that are based on Christian principles.  Pastor Tetrick's love for his wife and children come out loud and clear through his Covenant Country Christian music.

After performing some of his enjoyable music,
Pastor Tetrick ministered from the Word of God
on the subject of "The Tomb or Tomorrow,"
taking his text from Luke 24.

He shared how sometimes all we can see is the
defeat that stares us in the face and the feeling
of hopelessness and abandonment that comes
upon us in times of battle and transition.  We
can either remain focused on what we see in
the physical, or we can begin to focus our eyes on the victory of the resurrection that tomorrow holds. If we will accept the Word of God, and embrace the vision for the future - vision of hope, deliverance, victory and resurrection - then tomorrow is a great thing for us.  For those who will put their faith and trust in the Lord, we are not bound to the tomb-mentality of today, but will have faith in the victory of tomorrow's resurrection in our lives.

At the conclusion of his message, Pastor Tetrick turned the service back over to Pastor Carter.  Pastor Carter made invitation for those that needed to receive Jesus as their Savior and Lord, or who needed to rededicate their lives to Him.  We are pleased to report that 8 people gave their hearts to Jesus and accepted His Lordship in their lives.

To God be the glory for what was accomplished for the Kingdom in this service.  Praise the Lord!
