Brother Hyland is the founder of Move the Earth, a grassroots movement that motivates citizens to actively engage the culture for good. He is also a former staff minister of World Harvest Church with Rod Parsley.
Dear Pastor Carter,
I want to honor your work and the call of God upon you and
your family. Your tireless work to serve the Body of Christ
locally and speak prophetically to those outside the walls of
Family Harvest Church is evident to all, including myself.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has given gifts to men. The voice of
truth and grace that proceeds from your lips weekly is –
undeniably – a gift from our Lord to the Body of Christ in
this generation. Your voice extends far beyond the great
congregation of Family Harvest Church through your online
sermons and video postings. I personally am edified and
compelled through your internet ministry to stand for
righteousness and justice in this morally confused culture.
With pure humility in giving honor to whom honor is due and
not with false flattering words, I want to publicly Thank You through this letter for your deep conviction to boldly confess the full gospel in season and out of season; when it is popular and when it is not popular. There are many pastors but few prophetic voices. You are one of them and I am grateful for your accomplishments, your vision concerning Family Harvest Church, and for your community and state. I pray that everyone "Catches the Fire".
Love in Christ,
Shawn Hyland

Brother Sumrall is the son of the late great Dr. Lester Sumrall. He has become a regular visitor to Family Harvest Church and delivers an encouraging word each time he does.
Dear Pastor Carter,
It’s an honor to know you. There are three areas that
constitute your life: 1) Being Holy. 2) Being a man of
compassion. And 3) Being a man of faith. These
qualities certainly testify of you.
As I have said before, a church can only be as great as its
pastor is. I believe, because of you, that this year is the
time for blessing, expansion, and of course, HARVEST.
No matter what you are facing, God is on your side and the
Word declares that if God be for you, who can be against
you.
My prayer for you is the two prayers prayed by the Apostle
Paul in Ephesians 1:17-23 and Ephesians 3:17 and 20:
Ephesians 1:17-23
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”
Ephesians 3:17, 20
“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith... Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us...”
Blessings,
Rev. Frank L. Sumrall

Elder Canfield is the Senior Elder of World Harvest Church with Pastor Rod Parsley in Columbus, Ohio.
He is a brilliant and anointed theologian, and an inspiring teacher and minister. He instructs students in World Harvest Bible College and ministers to the congregation of World Harvest Church on a regular basis.
We were privileged to host Elder and Mrs. Canfield in a wonderful Sunday morning service here at Family Harvest Church.
When ministering at Family Harvest Church, Elder Canfield said,
God’s got great things in store for right here in Salem, Indiana… The Lord has raised this place up to take this city for the glory of God. God has established this place as a beacon of light and hope here in this area. There are people that God has called to this place, and God wants to raise this local body of believers up to be a force for righteousness... You're making an impact in your community and in this region, and it's not nearly the impact you're going to make in the days ahead! We thank God for your pastor and his family. This [pastor and his family] is the greatest gift God has for you and for this church.
Elder Canfield sent this greeting to FHC in honor of our Pastor:
Congratulations to Pastor Chad Carter and the congregation of Family Harvest Church as you continue to enjoy success in reaching out to your community. The Bible says that God gave gifts to the church - and one of those gifts is the ministry gift of pastor. Pastor Chad Carter is a gift to the body of Christ, and a very special gift to you and Family Harvest Church, as well as to Salem, Indiana. There is a difference between those who are employed in ministry and those who are called to it. Pastor Carter is not an employee doing a job - he is an anointed vessel fulfilling a calling. Paula and I send our greetings and warmest wishes to all of you at Family Harvest Church as you honor the gift God has graciously given you - Pastor Chad Carter.
In His Service,
Bill Canfield

It is a delight to speak a few words of blessings
over my friend and brother in the battle, Pastor
Chad Carter!
I'd like to take this opportunity to proclaim that
Pastor is a passionate preacher, who is prophetic,
powerful and practical! He is bold, bubbly,
battle-wise and biblical. He is warm, witty and wonderfully Word-centered! Pastor is happy, holy, humorous and hungry for more of God!
Chad Carter is exciting, exuberant, extroverted and an example of the believer! He is fun, friendly, fearless, fiery, focused, and a family man!
And in closing, when you are in a war, you choose your fighting partners very carefully. I am glad to have the armed and dangerous Pastor Chad Carter in the trenches with me!
And you, as a church family, are blessed to have this man of God as your covering, prophet and spiritual shepherd!

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. My name is Jerry Doty and I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I wanted to write and tell you what a blessing Pastor Chad & Sarah Carter are, not just in their home church, but everywhere the Internet reaches - especially into my home.
Having worked as a volunteer for 30 years under Pastor Tommy Barnett at Phoenix First Assembly here in Phoenix, I know a great Pastor when I hear from one. Pastor Chad, you are a great Pastor and your congregation is blessed beyond measure to have you as the Shepherd leading the flock, with Jesus Christ at the head.
I wanted you to know how much I appreciate your gifts and contributions to the Body of Christ. The articles, sermons and videos you make available on the internet are an incredible blessing to all who read and watch them, but especially to me. As an ordained minister myself who has been called to reach out to the children and teens, you have been a great inspiration. As you know, even ministers can succumb to stress and disappointment, but it is at those times in my own life that I turn on the computer and almost without fail, there will be a post or video from you that totally lifts me back up again and prepares me to charge ahead.
Thank you for giving your life and your time not just at your own church, but to the world. Until you walk through the gates of heaven you will never know just how many lives you have touched. God richly bless you Pastor Chad & Miss Sarah

Greetings Family Harvest Church!
1 Timothy 5:17 (NIV) says, “The elders [pastors] who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching."
Today is a very special day at FHC where we are taking the time to truly honor a man of God, Pastor Chad Carter, the Pastor and Elder of this great local church. A man who is, as the previous verse stated, "worthy of double honor".
Pastor Carter and I have known each other for many years now and I count it a privilege to call him friend. From the start, I knew there was something special about him and Sarah. Seeing their faithfulness, submissiveness, and integrity through several years of "advanced ministry training" that God was putting them through during their time at World Harvest Church, I knew in my heart that they were headed for full time ministry.
Their patience and submission to God's timing and will were very admirable. They realized that "preparation time is not wasted time." So without complaint, they waited, worked hard, and allowed God to continue to prepare them to become the pastors of FHC.
In my humble opinion, Pastor Carter could have stepped out and been the pastor of any church in America and made it a thriving, growing, cutting edge church in no time, but God's choice for him and his family was FHC. And Pastor Carter embraced the call, packed up his family, left the comfortable confines of World Harvest Church, and BY FAITH, followed God and became the pastor of a church in Salem, IN.
Through the tests, trials, and triumphs of the last several years, I know that Pastor Carter has given and continues to give his all to pastor this great church, all the while keeping his faithfulness, submissiveness, and integrity – three qualities that every great pastor has.
1 Corinthians 4:15 (KJV) says; "For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you have NOT many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel."
There are many churches in the world that have "instructors" as pastors, but FHC has a father as their pastor and he (and his family) are truly worthy of honor today. Please don't take for granted the gift of God that has been placed in this church. Some of you would not even be Born Again today if not for the love and sacrifice of Pastor Carter and his family.
So please join me in honoring and appreciating Pastor Chad Carter. He is well worth it, and I can hear our heavenly Father saying, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!" Thank you for allowing me to have a small part of this wonderful service!

Dear Pastor Carter,
We learned from Dr. Sumrall that throughout our entire
lifetime, if we have 2, or maybe 3, good friends, then we have become wealthy. He instructed us to live our lives so that we would have the testimony that we had a few good friends! Our Pastor, Rod Parsley, asked us this question: "what will you do with the love of Jesus… the sinner's best friend?" I know what you are doing with the love of Jesus, and I know what the love of Jesus is doing with you!
You and Sarah are an incredible blessing to so many people and I am so thankful that you call me your friend. May God's love continue to pour out of you in new and overwhelming ways.
Your friend,
Joe Henry

I want to say to Pastor Chad Carter – Be Blessed, my Fellow Servant of the Lord, anointed and appointed for such a time as this. May you and your family be blessed for your obedience to the Lord.
I thank God for your ministry that seeks to glorify the name of Jesus. I thank God for your work to see people set free and walking in the fullness of the Spirit. I thank God for your preaching of the 'TRUTH' of the Gospel in these troubled times.
Thank you, Pastor Carter, for preaching the Word with integrity, with honor, and without compromise. Thank you for sharing the Word with a true servant's heart, caring for the needs of the people, and for standing for the Truth without fear of man or the opinions of others.
I thank you for being a true shepherd – a man with a heart for the Lord. In this age we live of men pleasers and ear ticklers, YOU stand boldly for the truth, and I salute you, my brother. Please… continue on!
I pray the Lord provide you with everything you need to complete the vision He has given you – every provision for every goal! I pray that that the Spirit of the Lord will continue to anoint you as you minister the Word. I'm thankful to say you’re my brother in the Lord. I honor you and bless you in His name!
