Thursday, May 10
Thursday night was the second night of this Revival for Family Harvest Church.
Deacon Shane Hawkins opened the service in praise and worship and led the congregation into a wonderful few moments of time with the Lord.
Elder Darryl Madden assisted in receiving the offering, and introduced Pastor Carter to the platform.
Pastor Chad Carter came and spoke to the congregation for a few minutes about the importance of church attendance and involvement.
He took a text from Scripture and demonstrated that there is a need for what is dead to be thrown onto something with power and anointing sufficient enough to bring us back to life.
Pastor Carter closed the evening encouraging the congregation to contact their family and friends and invite them out for the remainder of the Revival.
Friday, May 11
The congregation of Family Harvest Church were delighted to welcome, for the very first time, Pastor David Richie of Calvary Temple Church in Austin, Indiana.
Pastor Carter and Pastor Richie are both ordained by Pastor Rod Parsley and became acquainted through activities of the World Harvest Church Ministerial Fellowship under Pastor Rod Parsley's direction.
A husband and wife singing team from Calvary Temple, known as Corporate Praise, blessed the congregation with a couple of songs before Brother Richie ministered.
We were also blessed to hear the testimony of Sister Vickie Richie, whom we had been praying for for a long time. During last year's Revival with Bill & Denise Clark, Brother Clark called Sister Richie out of the congregation and, through the Word of Wisdom, instructed the ladies to lay hands on her chest and stomach and pray for her. A short time after that, the doctors diagnosed her as having breast cancer. Sister Richie testified that the first thing she thought of was when Brother Clark called her out during his revival at Family Harvest, and instructed the ladies to pray for her. She knew, because of what the Lord had already done, she would be fine. She testified that after intense treatment and a lot of prayer, she is happy to report that she is completely cancer-free!
The congregation of Family Harvest Church rejoiced over this wonderful praise report, that we were able to play a small part in the miracle she had received in her body.
Following this, Pastor Richie shared a wonderful Word from the Lord that brought tremendous encouragement to this local body.
What a great night of Revival we enjoyed, in the presence of the Lord! □
